Coatings
TS-6200 is a superdurable pigment that has excellent dispersion properties, high initial gloss and exceptional gloss retention. TS-6200 is suitable for most exterior applications, including automotive, powder, coil and general industrial.
TS-6200 is a rutile pigment manufactured via Chemours's chloride process and supplied as a fine dry powder. Designed specifically for the most demanding durability applications, TS-6200 offers excellent gloss retention coupled with unique dispersing capabilities.
TS-6200 offers the coating manufacturer several ways to reduce cost. Rapid and complete dispersion of TS-6200 not only lowers energy costs, it can also eliminate some grind operations (e. g., media milling). Low dispersant demand allows for less dispersant in the coating, which decreases cost and can improve the properties of the final paint film.
Finally, formulators can take advantage of the unmatched durability of TS-6200 to lower the cost of expensive super-durable coatings while maintaining traditional levels of coating durability. By using TS-6200, costly resins can be replaced by less durable resins, or the amount of expensive durability additives (HALS, UV light absorbers, etc.) can be reduced, while still achieving the same durability as seen in coatings made with other TiO2 pigments.
TS-6200 is recommended for high durability coatings in these market segments:

Ti-Pure™ Select TS-6300 provides maximum hiding power in flat and low sheen interior and exterior architectural coatings. Flat paints are formulated at relatively high levels of extenders and TiO2 pigments, which can cause pigment crowding and loss of light scattering efficiency. TS-6300 was developed with an engineered, inorganic surface treatment that prevents pigment crowding, thus allowing maximum light scattering. This increased light scattering results in superior hiding power in coatings formulated at above critical PVC levels.
A rutile titanium dioxide pigment, TS-6300 is manufactured by the chloride process and is supplied as a fine, dry powder. It is specifically formulated to provide superior dry hiding power, increased brightness, weathering resistance, and leave a smaller environmental footprint throughout the value chain by optimizing raw material use without sacrificing performance. Implementation of state-of-the-art process quality control technologies will enable quality consistency and right-the-first-time paint production.

Ti-Pure™ R-902+ is a multi-purpose grade pigment recommended for use when a single pigment is required to perform well in interior and exterior gloss and semi-gloss systems. Though less resistant to weathering than other grades, R-902+ provides an excellent balance of performance properties.
A rutile titanium dioxide pigment, R-902+ is manufactured by the chloride process and is supplied as a fine, dry powder. It is specifically formulated to perform well in a wide range of solvent-based and aqueous systems and provides:
- High chalk resistance
- High gloss retention
- High tint retention
- Excellent resistance to overbake yellowing during cure

Ti-Pure™ R-706 is a universal pigment that offers exceptional performance in interior, exterior, and industrial applications and possesses a unique combination of performance properties that may allow for inventory reduction. R-706 is well suited for applications requiring high initial haze-free gloss and superior gloss retention over the life of the coating.
A rutile titanium dioxide pigment, R-706 is manufactured by the chloride process and is supplied as a fine, dry powder or in aqueous slurry form (R-746). It is specifically formulated to provide:
- Exceptional gloss and semi-gloss performance
- Brighter, cleaner colors in tinted systems from a blue undertone

Ti-Pure™ R-960 is the most durable Ti-Pure™ pigment available and is recommended for use in applications requiring exceptional exterior durability. A rutile titanium dioxide pigment, R-960 is manufactured by the chloride process and is supplied as a fine, dry powder. It is specifically formulated to provide:
- Outstanding chalk resistance and weatherability
- Excellent resistance to overbake yellowing during cure
- High gloss and tint retention
- Very good dispersion
- Excellent hiding power and color acceptance

Ti-Pure™ R-900 is a general-purpose pigment used in alkyd and latex paints for interior gloss and semi-gloss applications. This pigment disperses easily, develops high gloss, and provides maximum hiding power in a wide range of gloss grade applications.
R-900 is a rutile titanium dioxide pigment manufactured by the chloride process and is supplied as a fine, dry powder. It is formulated to provide:

Ti-Pure™ R-900 Datasheet
Ti-Pure™ R-931 provides maximum hiding power in high-quality, high-pigment volume concentration (PVC) architectural coatings. Flat paints are formulated at relatively high levels of extenders and TiO2 pigments. They are frequently above the critical PVC levels and R-931 provides superior performance in this class of highly crowded paint systems.
A rutile titanium dioxide pigment, R-931 is manufactured by the chloride process and is supplied as a fine, dry powder or in aqueous slurry form (R-941). It is specifically formulated to provide an excellent balance of hiding power and film integrity in emulsion and solvent flat paints.

Plastics
Ti-Pure™ R-101 is an excellent general-purpose grade rutile titanium dioxide pigment designed primarily for plastics applications.
This grade is characterized as
- Fine, dry, white powder.
- Having a low level of surface treatment, giving it excellent dry-blend dispersion
- Reflecting very low volatility
Applications where R-101 is of particular value are
- High-temperature plastics applications requiring outstanding dispersibility and lowest possible volatility
- Exterior PVC applications requiring controlled chalking
- High-temperature polyolefin extrusion coating operations sensitive to lacing due to their low level of crystalline and surface adsorbed water
Ti-Pure™ R-103 is an excellent general-purpose grade rutile titanium dioxide pigment for all resin systems. Manufactured by the chloride process, it is specially formulated to
- Reduce discoloration of resin compounds and finished products during exposure to ultraviolet light by a unique alumina surface treatment
- Provide high opacity and very blue undertone tint
- Produce clean, bright whites at low loadings in clear resins and those having natural color
Applications where Ti-Pure™ R-103 is of particular value are:
- Polyolefin or engineering resin applications requiring high opacity strength, very blue tint, excellent dispersion, and discoloration resistance in lead-stabilized PVC systems, while still providing controlled chalking in exterior PVC applications
Ti-Pure™ R-104 is a general-purpose rutile titanium dioxide pigment designed primarily for plastics applications. Manufactured by the chloride process and supplied as a fine, dry white powder, it is specifically formulated to
- Offer fine particle size distribution
- Give outstanding melt flow with highly loaded thermoplastic masterbatches
- Combine high brightness and high tinting strength with the bluest vinyl undertone
- Offer excellent lacing resistance in high-temperature cast film and extrusion coating applications
Applications where Ti-Pure™ R-104 is of particular value are:
- Engineering resin applications where high opacity at low loading is required
- Thermoplastic masterbatches where high concentrations of pigment are desired
- Melt flows that are minimally affected
Ti-Pure™ R-105 is a maximum-durability grade of titanium dioxide recommended for all applications that require extended outdoor service life. Ti-Pure™ R-105 is a rutile TiO2 pigment manufactured by the chloride process, which produces bright TiO2 with excellent opacity. The high opacity strength and neutral undertone of Ti-Pure™ R-105 provides the best flexibility in matching existing color tint formulas, and produces clean, bright color.

Ti-Pure™ R-350 is a unique titanium dioxide pigment designed for plastic applications. Manufactured by the chloride process and supplied as a fine, dry white powder, it is specifically formulated to provide:
